Selected parts from Colors of Nature edited by Alison H. Deming og Lauret E. Savoy (2011). Continuing on the path of vindicating the importance of eco-life-writing: first-person narrative earth&place bound narrativity and agency thereof. Life and Zoom.

Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard (1974): alternative reading of Dillard’s seminal novel, combined with selected texts from How Forests Think: Toward an Anthropology Beyond the Human by Eduardo Kohn (2013). Life and Zoom.

The Turquoise Ledge by Leslie Marmon Silko (2010). Silko’s autobiography juxtaposed with Macdonald and Dillard. Introduction to non-eurocentric temporalities in terms of narrative identity of the self and the place.

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer (2013). Combined with short excerpts from Beyond Settler Time by Mark Rifkin (2017). Discussing spatial and temporal continuities between the human and nonhuman, questioning the eurocentrism of the human-nonhuman binary itself. Life and Zoom.
